Volunteer Opportunities

  • Workshop Facilitator

    A workshop facilitator is someone who guides and supports participants in learning or discussing a topic. They create a positive environment, help everyone stay on track, and ensure that all voices are heard, making the session productive and enjoyable for everyone.

    COMMITMENT: 1-2 hours
    LOCATION: In-Person and Virtual Options
    FREQUENCY: As Needed

  • Mock Interviewer

    A volunteer who helps students practice job interviews by asking questions and giving feedback to improve their confidence and responses.

    COMMITMENT: 1-2 hours
    LOCATION: In-Person and Virtual Options
    FREQUENCY: As Needed

  • Leadership Coach for Middle/High School

    A volunteer who teaches leadership skills to younger students, helping them build confidence, teamwork, and decision-making abilities.

    Goal: To assist with the student in exploring careers and selecting their post-secondary option

    COMMITMENT: 2-4 Hours/Month
    LOCATION: In-Person
    FREQUENCY: Monthly

  • Leadership Coach for College Students

    A coach who teaches leadership skills to younger students, helping them build confidence, teamwork, and decision-making abilities.

    Goal: To assist the student in exploring careers readiness opportunities and identifying their post-graduate option

    COMMITMENT: 1-Year
    LOCATION: In-Person
    FREQUENCY: 4-6 hours/Month

  • Transition Coach for College Seniors

    A coach who supports college seniors as they prepare to transition into the workforce, offering guidance on job search strategies, networking, and professional growth.COMMITMENT: 10 Weeks

    Goal: To assist the students in readiness opportunities and transitioning into their post-graduate option

  • Career-Driven Volunteer

    A volunteer who dedicates their time to helping students explore career paths, offering insights, advice, and real-world experiences to guide them.

    COMMITMENT: 1-Year
    LOCATION: In-Person/Hybrid
    FREQUENCY: Based on role

  • Lunch and Learn Speaker

    A professional who shares knowledge on a specific topic during a casual lunchtime session, offering insights and practical tips to help students or employees grow.

    COMMITMENT: Ad-Hoc/ As NeededLOCATION: In-Person or Hybrid
    FREQUENCY: 1-2 hours

  • So You Want to Be - Panelist

    COMMITMENT: Ad-Hoc/ As Needed

    LOCATION: Virtual

  • Speed Networking

    A professional who participates in quick, timed conversations with students, offering advice, sharing experiences, and helping them practice networking skills.

    COMMITMENT: Ad-Hoc/ As Needed
