The STS Senior Experience is a selective, cohort-driven program designed to equip college seniors with the skills, mentorship, and connections essential for a smooth transition into the professional world. Over the course of several sessions, participants engage in career development, hands-on learning, and networking opportunities to prepare for life after college

The program is open to full-time enrolled college seniors pursuing a bachelor’s degree.

Each cohort is limited to 20 students, ensuring personalized support, mentorship, and engagement in a small, tight-knit community.

The curriculum is based on NACE Career Readiness Competencies, guiding students through a simulated journey from job candidate to career success in their first five years post-graduation. Topics include:

• Job Offer Letters & Negotiation – Understanding contracts, salary, and benefits

• Budgeting & Financial Literacy – Managing finances effectively after college

• Workplace Essentials – Professionalism, communication, and expectations in corporate settings

• Managing Up – How to build strong relationships with supervisors

• Self-Awareness & Leadership – Identifying strengths, values, and growth areas

• Social Currency vs. Performance Currency – Navigating workplace visibility and impact

• Equity & Inclusion – Understanding diversity in the professional world

Participants may miss up to two sessions. Missing a third session results in automatic dismissal from the program.

Yes, a $100 application fee is required upon acceptance into the program. This fee helps cover program materials, workshops, and networking opportunities.
