The Bridging the Gap initiative aims to create meaningful connections that will empower the next generation to explore and pursue the many career pathways available within the Memphis community. 

“Bridging the Gap” is more than just an initiative—it’s a movement to ensure that Memphis's future workforce is informed, inspired, and equipped to achieve their career goals. Together, STS and YPC are committed to impacting the lives of Memphis’s youth and the city’s future

On September 3, 2024 STS Enterprise Corporation (STS) partnered with the Greater Memphis Chamber’s Young Professionals Council (YPC) to launch an innovative initiative called “Bridging the Gap.”

This initiative is designed to create meaningful connections between Memphis teenagers, young adults, and the city’s emerging professional leaders, offering them invaluable exposure to diverse career pathways within the Memphis community.

To get involved, complete the volunteer application form. Whether you can commit a few hours or become a long-term mentor, your contribution will make a lasting impact. 

For Volunteers: 

1. Sign up for specific events like workshops, panel discussions, or mock interviews. 
2. Commit to a monthly coaching role for middle, high school, or college students. 
3. Offer to host students at your workplace for a day of shadowing.
