Spring 2026 Bridging the Gap Experiential Learning Series Kicks Off

STS Enterprise has partnered with the Greater Memphis Chamber to launch our Spring 2026 Experiential Learning Visits, beginning with an engaging plant tour at AAON, Inc.

This visit is the first of 12 company experiences that students at Freedom Prep Academy High School (FPA) will take part in this spring as part of our Bridging the Gap initiative. Through these immersive visits, FPA students will connect directly with local companies and industry professionals to gain hands-on exposure that influences the career pathways they choose after high school graduation.

At AAON, Inc., students toured the facility from start to finish, learning how operations function at every level and gaining firsthand insight into workforce opportunities.

When asked, “What was the most meaningful or interesting part of today’s visit?” one student shared:

The most meaningful part of the trip was that I loved how the operation is and how he showed us the start to finish of how things work. I really liked the workforce opportunity and the information I gathered.”

Our Bridging the Gap Initiative, which prioritizes experiential learning, remains one of the most effective methods through which we connect students to career opportunities.
